E Komo Mai (Welcome)
We are a youth only Hawaiian cultural immersion program for youths of all walks of life. We are also an all- volunteer run 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Charity Organization. Our programs build leadership, self-confidence, sound mind and bodies, and help empower our youths with life skills that will help them reach their potential. We have developed and currently offer the following programs:
- Hawaiian Cultural Immersion Program
- Nā Mea Hana Lima (Hand-Crafts Program)
- Ikaika Makapō (Visually Impaired Warrior) program
- Junior Voyaging Program
- Olakino (Health Wellness) program
- Mālama Maui Program
These programs which are enriching and changing the lives of our youth are not possible without the Hawaiian canoe. Therefore, we humbly ask for your donation. Our goal is to raise $ 20,000.00 by September 1, 2019, so we can purchase a new 6-person canoe.
We are an all-volunteer nonprofit so all donations collected for the purpose of purchasing a canoe will only be used to purchase a canoe and not be used to pay any Nā Koa Kai Canoe Club wages or salaries.
Mahalo nui loa (Thank you very much)!
